Patrick F. O’Connor

Patrick is a young artist whose older sister has an autism spectrum disorder.
His most recent portfolio explores what life is like for Erin:
her unique perspective, daily challenges and the joyful relationship she shares with those she loves.

Art for Good

Patrick created prints and greeting cards from his artwork in an effort to support programs that help Erin and so many with special needs.

Proceeds from the prints below benefit these very special organizations.

“Mother and Daughter”

18 x24, Watercolor, Paper, Pencil

Depicts the special relationship between my sister and my mom using watercolors, creating a dream-like scene.

“The Yellow Bus”

18 x 24, Oil Pastel, Acrylic Paint on Wood Board

Erin loves bright colors as much as she loves routine. She loved the predictability of her yellow bus, the driver’s warm greeting, that it took her to see teachers and friends at school in the morning and brought her back home at the end of the day. Here’s to the bright people and places that make us feel happy, safe, and loved.

“Pablo”

24 x 18

Mixed media collage portrait of Erin’s service dog, Pablo.

“Blue Pablo”

24 x 18

Mixed media collage portrait of Erin’s service dog, Pablo.

“Erin and Pablo”

24 x 18

Mixed media collage portrait of Erin and her service dog, Pablo. Erin loved Pablo immensely. They shared a very special bond.

This piece won a Scholastic Arts Award and was displayed at The Bruce Museum’s icreate exhibit in Greenwich, CT.
